Mavens Report

By Carol Pouliot:

The Mavens began the new year by welcoming back novelist K.A. Mitchell to our January 16th meeting. Mitchell presented a 2½ hour workshop packed with information on character creation and enrichment. She showed us how to use enneagrams to create believable and familiar, yet unique, types of people in our stories. Many thanks to Ms. Mitchell for the wealth of information she shared with us. We wish her great success with her latest novel Risk Everything On It.

Our next meeting is February 20th — be there!

January Monthly Meeting

Mavens of MayhemJoin us for our monthly meeting at the usual time and place: Saturday January 16th, 10:30 am at the Bethlehem Public Library. We salute our brand new president Eleanor Kuhns!

Also, there has been some interest in reviving the writers group. If you have any interest in participating, be prepared to stick around after the normal business to offer your ideas and wishes.

Not a member? Drop by anyway to check out what we do and how you can be a part of it. Readers and writers both welcome (because where would writers be without readers?!)

December Monthly Meeting

We will have our regular Mavens Meeting at 11:am  with Our Holiday Party following. We have invited the Romance Writers group and my Wednesday Writers Group, also we have invited our Speakers to come and join us. So I hope everyone signed up to bring some refreshments does so in abundance.

Those who want to do so, please come in fancy dress as your favourite  author or mystery character. If author perhaps choose the most difficult mystery book you wrote; if a character, decide who and from what book or series. We will all guess! No hints please.
