Capitol Hauntings: Mavens October 2013 Meeting

The Upper Hudson Chapter of Sisters in Crime (the Mavens of Mayhem) will hold their monthly meeting on Saturday, October 19th at 10:30 am at the Bethlehem Public Library (451 Delaware Avenue, Delmar). This month’s program is Capitol Hauntings: A Historical Ghost Tour of the New York State Capitol.  Explore the haunted history of one of New York State’s architectural treasures: the Capitol building in Albany. A slide lecture will be presented by Stuart Lehman, Education Coordinator for the New York State Capitol.  Sisters in Crime is an organization for readers and writers of mystery and crime fiction. Meeting July 20, 2013

Our next meeting will be on Saturday, July 20th at 10:30 a.m. at the Bethlehem Public Library (451 Delaware Ave., Delmar, NY). Our program this month will be a presentation by the Albany Paranormal Research Society. Members from APRS will showcase the equipment and techniques they use to investigate paranormal events and phenomena in the Capital Region and will present evidence they have gathered from their investigations. The meeting is free and open to the public. A mystery book discussion group will follow the meeting.
