Jon Anderson, retired county sheriff and police historian, will present Interview & Interrogation 101. The presentation will introduce insights into verbal and non-verbal techniques used in police investigative interviews and interrogation.
Lieutenant Jon Anderson retired in 2020 after thirty-five years of service at the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, New York. Areas in which he worked are Patrol / Field Training Officer, Academy In-service instructor, Crime Scene Specialist, Internal Affairs, Criminal Investigation, Community Relations, Facilities Security. Jon is the author of Since 1794 -The History of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Images of America – Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Gannentaha – The 17th Century French Jesuit Mission Ste. Marie among the Iroquois Haudenosaunee at Onondaga Lake, as well as more than 70 magazine articles, including the FBI Bulletin.
