The Mystery Book Club of the Cohoes Public Library meets on the third Wednesday of the month. Alex Kava’s tenth Maggie O’Dell novel, Fireproof, will be the subject of discussion at the February 20th meeting of the Mystery Book Club. A Nebraska native, Ms. Kava is a NY Times best-selling author known for her psychological suspense novels. Join us at the Cohoes Public Library at either 10:30 am or 6:30 pm (please let us know if you are coming to the 6:30 meeting) to discuss this exciting novel. Books are available at the Library. Snoops in the Stacks, the mystery book group at the Guilderland Public Library meets on the first Monday of the month at 7 pm. We’re a lively bunch that enjoys reading and talking about mysteries. Many are long-standing mystery lovers and others are new to the genre. What is really interesting is reading authors one might never think to try and being pleasantly surprised, or even better – hooked.
