Women of all ages, temperaments and talents populate crime fiction. Where would the genre be without the curiosity of Nancy Drew, the detection of Miss Marple or the grit of V.I. Warshawski?
The members of the Upper Hudson Chapter of Sisters in Crime will mark Women’s History Month by discussing female characters and their authors at their March 17 meeting, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Orchard Tavern, 65 N. Manning Blvd., in Albany. Lunch available during the meeting.
If you love a good mystery and want to support the efforts of crime writers in general, and women authors especially, consider joining Sisters in Crime national as well as the Upper Hudson chapter. For more information, contact Kay Hafner at 518-798-2340 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
