Criminal Investigation Resource Center at Russell Sage College

Dr Lane will discuss how utilizing academics with expertise in the various disciplines of investigative science and college students as a tool to assist law enforcement agencies with unresolved cases is successful. In this presentation, specific unresolved homicide cases that have been moved forward through CIRC will also be presented.

C LaneChristina Lane is an associate professor of criminal justice and a criminologist at Russell Sage College. She co-founded the Cold Case Analysis Center at The College of Saint Rose in 2018 and has since cultivated a specialty in behavioral evidence analysis and the study of predatory deviant behavior. Her work emphasizes the role of academic institutions in supporting the investigation of unresolved homicides and provides students with meaningful, applied research experiences that contribute to justice system
outcomes.
